What an enabled football endpoint tells you
The public catalogue lists callable services. Account permissions, competition coverage and real-time monitoring answer different questions.
Read the note
The public football catalogue is a directory of enabled endpoints, not a live uptime percentage. A listed service can still require a suitable plan, saved league choices or separate activation. Read its parameters before making a request, and distinguish a successful empty collection from a permission error. Neither tells you that every match in every competition will have the same fields.
A received sample establishes that a response was inspected. It does not establish guaranteed latency, complete historical coverage or continuous availability. Administrators use separate quality checks to monitor delivery. Developers should retain fetch times, validate envelopes and expose useful freshness information to their own users rather than treating a catalogue entry as a service-level agreement.
