These terms apply to our developer portal and football data services. The plan, account permissions and service availability shown in your dashboard govern your access. Additional rights or service commitments require our written agreement.

1. The service

FootballAPI.net provides a developer portal and an association-football data API covering fixtures, results, standings, squads, profiles, statistics and related images where qualified. Coverage varies by competition and feed. A listed feed does not guarantee that every competition or match has every field.

2. Accounts and API keys

Accounts are individual. Keep sign-in credentials and API keys confidential and call the API from your own server. You are responsible for activity on your account and keys. Tell us promptly if a key may be compromised.

Creating an account does not activate paid feeds. Access requires an active entitlement and an enabled endpoint. Starter access is limited to your saved league selection. Certain live services require separate activation and approved server IP addresses.

3. Resale and redistribution

You must not resell, sublicense, proxy or repackage API access, raw responses, bulk datasets or standalone image feeds. You may use the data to power your own product and display information to your end users, subject to the Data Licensing terms.

4. Pricing and payment

The business is based in the UK and is not VAT registered. No VAT is currently charged. Starter is €29/month with 5,000 included successful requests per UTC day, Growth €99/month with 25,000, and Pro €249/month with 250,000. Daily included usage resets at midnight UTC without rollover and is shared across an account's API keys. Additional successful requests cost €0.002 each and are billed in arrears on the monthly EUR subscription invoice. Failed and denied requests are not billed. Charges are calculated from total additional requests before the invoice line is rounded to cents. For example, 1,000 additional requests cost €2.00. A 100-request/second account safety limit applies. No free trial is offered. Public checkout remains subject to service activation and billing readiness. 5. MCP access for AI clients

Where enabled for your account, the MCP server gives an AI client you authorise read-only access to football data. It cannot access your account, keys or billing. You are responsible for the clients you connect; access stops when you revoke the connection or key.

6. Changes, accuracy and responsibility

Football data can be delayed, incomplete or corrected after publication. We may change feeds, disable an endpoint or suspend an account for security, misuse, supplier restrictions or legal reasons. No uptime or response-time guarantee applies unless agreed in writing. FootballAPI.net is a data provider, not a bookmaker, and does not provide betting advice.

7. Questions and statutory rights

Contact support@footballapi.net with questions about these terms, access or invoices. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory statutory rights or protections that apply to you. Bespoke commercial arrangements must be agreed in writing.
